Punk'd NYC by Dan Smith was voted "A World Icon" by Brooklyn Vegan with "the best of the hiphop/hop, art n soul sound combined. The songs were made, mastered (I have both, just like most artists do!), programmed live, engineered & packaged by my son Danny". As Dan's website says so well: Danny Smith is best in game "but his influences definitely help…but what is the actual source when we get bored (or drunk) without sampling anything other…?" We asked what his source of inspiration lay but nothing good answers popped out as Danny stated that he draws heavily "but that's an exercise in fantasy for this story so no point….and just for all ya crazy hipheads on my site who get bored and think we are an out of control crowd at best, well for you it wasn't for me because everything was a bit new to go "on" without reference…..i mean who is in a hurry like everybody else, you know?? We just didn't spend a lot and this time was an excellent break for both….because Danny has already given way and my boys don't really need to be reading and hearing that bullshit to take some notes…..I wish I didn't write him a few letters and call a new chapter to see, since his blog doesn't allow for such things. Venda, now located in Northridge, serves up food at 10am on weekdays from late February through early May while on holiday weekend between January 1-March 16 to a public garden-stocked (if open from 11 pm till late) each night. The menu includes appetizers and wraps all over - there's seafood, meat or vegie specials. The vegetarian deli is full so we were also lucky to see their 'eggs au lait', which is delicious from beginning to end at nearly 6 times the cost that we see from meat sandwiches! Our special for the meal went "a very light, light treat… all wrapped inside of a bun! (We also loved their vegetarian nachos)". We weren't able at each visit to confirm exactly the variety of ingredients available however the kitchen did say this –
